Hydro Bodies Assembly Podcast: Berlin Edition

On October 1st, I contributed to the Hydro Bodies Assembly Podcast, a project by Corpi Idrici, hosted at Cashmere Radio in Berlin.

In conversation with fellow artists and researchers, I shared insights on the Rechte der Spree Initiative that advocates for granting legal rights to Berlin’s river. The discussion explored how art can become a medium for institutional change, and how rivers themselves might speak within our political systems.

The podcast forms part of Transgeographical Hydro Bodies, a European project connecting water-centered artistic practices from Genoa to The Hague, Oslo, and Berlin, exploring shared strategies for ecological justice, artistic research, and more-than-human care.

Hydro Bodies Assembly Podcast: Berlin Edition

Am 1. Oktober durfte ich am Hydro Bodies Assembly Podcast mitwirken; ein Projekt von Corpi Idrici, aufgezeichnet bei Cashmere Radio in Berlin.

Im Gespräch mit anderen Künstler:innen und Forscher:innen habe ich Einblicke in die Rechte der Spree Initiative gegeben, die sich dafür einsetzt, der Berliner Spree zu einer Rechtspersönlichkeit zu verhelfen. Dabei ging es unter anderem darum, wie Kunst zu einem Medium für institutionellen Wandel werden kann, und wie Flüsse selbst innerhalb unserer politischen Systeme eine Stimme bekommen könnten.

Der Podcast ist Teil von Transgeographical Hydro Bodies, einem europäischen Projekt, das wasserbezogene künstlerische Praktiken von Genua über Den Haag und Oslo bis nach Berlin miteinander verbindet und gemeinsame Strategien für ökologische Gerechtigkeit, künstlerische Forschung und mehr-als-menschliche Fürsorge erkundet.
